Install in four steps.

  1. Get ZXP Installer

    It is free for Windows and macOS. Download ZXP Installer

  2. Install the .zxp

    Open ZXP Installer and drop MotionVault-0.1.0.zxp onto it.

  3. Restart your Adobe app

    Quit After Effects or Premiere Pro completely, then open it again.

  4. Open the panel

    Choose Window, then Extensions, then Motion Vault. Dock it wherever you like.

Requirements.

After Effects 2022 or newer

Every item type works: projects, scripts, presets and footage.

Premiere Pro 2022 or newer

Items that include a .mogrt file. Others are marked "AE only".

Windows or macOS

Any system that runs those Adobe versions.

Troubleshooting.

Motion Vault is missing from Window > Extensions

Quit the Adobe app completely and open it again. If it is still missing, run ZXP Installer again and check that it reports a successful install for your app version.

The panel opens but stays empty

You have no packs yet. Click the plus button in the panel and choose a .mvp file, or start with the free starter pack.

A Premiere Pro item says "AE only"

That item has no .mogrt version yet. Open the panel in After Effects to use it.

Where are my packs stored?

On Windows in %APPDATA%\MotionVault\Library, on macOS in ~/Library/Application Support/MotionVault/Library. You can change the folder in the panel settings.
